Dr. Suess’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! is a wonderful, whimsical musical based upon the classic Dr. Seuss book; catch it now through December 24, 2017. Little Italy Tree Lighting

Join us for a neighborhood holiday tradition and family-friendly event, happening this year on Saturday, December 2 from 4pm-8pm, as we kick-off the holiday season. Families, friends and neighbors will experience Little Italy’s Christmas magic and will be able to enjoy the community’s festive décor, seasonal vendors, live music and entertainment, horse carriage rides, holiday treats, a tree lighting, a visit from Santa, and more! Holiday Bowl and Festivities

Make big time football in San Diego your holiday tradition! Back in it’s 40th year, the Holiday Bowl kick-off is scheduled for 6pm on December 28th, 2017 at SDCCU Stadium.  Before the big game, America’s Largest Balloon Parade is at 10am that morning (December 28th) on San Diego Bay. The scenic, bayside streets of downtown San Diego will come alive with the Port of San Diego Holiday Bowl Parade presented by National Funding! As always, this exciting family event brings together world-class marching bands, magnificent floats, entertaining drill teams, and a procession of enormous balloons – more than any other parade! Parade of Lights

2017 Marks the 46th annual Parade of Lights. The San Diego Bay Parade of Lights is a time-honored holiday tradition brought to San Diego by the boating community. Continuing its long-standing San Diego tradition, the San Diego Bay Parade of Lights promises to dazzle and entertain bayfront crowds during the evenings of December 10 and 17, 2017. Participants in this year’s highly anticipated holiday boat parade will decorate their boats to fit this year’s theme. This year, for the 2nd time, the parade will proceed to the pier at Cesar Chavez Park before making the turn to Coronado, giving spectators another area to view the parade.
